Summer Mini-Retreat using the Work of Byron Katie in Philadelphia August 14& 15 (click here for info) Medicine Wheel Teachings and the Twelve Steps - six Monday evenings starting September 21 in Downingtown (click here for more info) MALVERNSWEATLODGE MISSION: Seeing the benefit of a life based on prayer, meditation and self examination, and the Sweat Lodge being our principle way to pray, we have practiced this ancient Native American Ceremony of prayer and purification at a home in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Since 1995 we have kept a standing sweat lodge in the way taught to us by Beautiful Painted Arrow, Joseph Rael. We welcome others to join us. We used to hold workshops and other activities at Jim Frank's home in Malvern but we no longer do that. But we do hold our prayer in the sweat lodge.
